About Electrical Jobs

An electrical engineer is needed to maintain the light and power supply within buildings. Typically, they will be rresponsible for the undertaking of PPM and repair activities of all building services, in accordance to their designated skill level.

Key accountabilities include:

• Working to a computerised PPM system maintaining all building services.
• Liaison with Clients and Management of specialist contractors and fit-out works.
• Breakdowns and Faultfinding on AHU's, lights, control panels and A/C units.

Salaries vary dependant on experience but you can expect to earn somewhere in the region of £28k to £32k for a permanent position.  Typical qualifications and skills that are required to be successful within electrical engineering jobs are:

• C&G parts 1 and 2, NVQ level 3 electrical or equivalent apprenticeship
• 17th Edition
• Demonstrable building services experience
